Isle La Motte Project:

In the summer of 2001 Lake Champlain Bikeways chose Hector and three artists to design and install a series of sculptural bicycle rest stops around Lake Champlain. The seed money for the design work was part of a grant from Hilary Rodham Clinton's Millennium Legacy Trial project. The design was then used to obtain another grant for the construction. In the summer of 2003 the construction began in the town of Isle La Motte, Vermont.
