Hector Santos Wall Sculptures are inspired by his larger outdoor sculptures, but are smaller and hang on a wall. They are an extension of his full sized pieces with an inlay of cooper, mica schist, granite and sometimes birch. Hector's larger pieces require weeks of planning, scheduling of trucks, the moving of many tons of stone and the cooperation of the weather. By making his mixed media work smaller and portable he is able to create sculpture indoors and year-round, making them more accessible for people with limited space for sculpture. He also envisions his Wall Sculptures on a larger scale.

Hector envisions entire walls of stone, copper and birch. He feels the perfect environment for such sculptures would be a reception area in a professional office, a restaurant or a room in a home.
